WHAT YOU NEED
- 1 Kg meat
- 750 gm semi cooked rice
- 4 tbsp clarified butter
- ½ cup oil
- ½ tbsp Cardamom powder
- 3-4 Cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 4 Cloves
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp Foodip Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Foodip Green Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp Foodip Red Chilli Powder
- Garam Masala
- Biryani Masala
- 500 gm Curd
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Sautéed onions
- A few mint leaves
- 1 tbsp saffron
- ½ cup water
- Sliced radish
- Sliced cucumbers
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced carrots
- Green chillies to garnish
MAKE IT
Marinate the ingredients
- Take a large bowl
- Add yogurt, salt, Foodip ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder, Foodip green chilli sauce, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, cardamom powder, lemon juice, cloves
- Next add chicken and marinate it
- Set it aside for around two hours; while you cook the rice (get them half cooked only)
Hyderabadi Biryani Preparation
- Now transfer marinated chicken to the non – stick pan
- Add oil, half of the sautéed onions as well as mint leaves
- Mix all and evenly spread chicken in a single layer
- Now, evenly layer the half cooked rice as well
- Sprinkle rest of the sautéed onions and mint leaves over the chicken.
- Lastly sprinkle ¼ tbsp biryani masala, pour the saffron milk alongwith the clarified butter
Cooking Time
- Now, apply sticky dough on the sides of a pan
- Cover with lid to seal it
- Cook it for 25 minutes
- Hyderabadi Biryani is ready to eat
- Garnish it with green chillies and sliced tomatoes
- Serve with sliced cucumber, radish and tomato salad and Raita
- Enjoy its sumptuous taste with your loved ones
